Soccer Facilities at Miami University
The facilities are among the finest to be found in the country. The two varsity playing fields are natural grass with state-of-the-art irrigation and drainage systems to insure a quality playing surface. Our modern, well-equipped sports medicine facility is located in Yager Stadium (just a few minutes walk from the playing fields) and is expertly staffed by Miami’s full-time certified athletic trainers.
Housing and Supervision
We provide ’round-the-clock protection for Sports School’s participants. Campers are housed in the same University Residence Halls as the coaches and staff, who are available to them 24 hours a day. Three nutritious meals are served daily in the university dining halls. Sports School participants are not allowed to leave the campus without written parental approval and notification of the coaching staff.
Commuter Campers
Commuter campers are welcome at all but the prospect camps. Price includes lunch each day as well as a Miami Soccer Camp t-shirt and ball. Commuter hours are 9:00AM – 4:00PM Monday through Thursday.
Prospect Camp/Clinic
This camp/clinic is reserved for players age 15-17 who are interested in playing soccer in college. The curriculum is designed to educate college prospects as to what intercollegiate soccer is all about. More specifically, what soccer at Miami University is all about. Players will be exposed to the physical, technical, tactical and psychological demands of division I college soccer. All sessions are conducted by the Miami University coaching staff and assisted by Miami University team members. Seven members of the 2010 Miami Varsity Team are former Miami Prospect Camp participants.
