Nate Lie – Asst Coach

Joining the Miami University women’s soccer program in April 2009, Miami alumnus Nate Lie (pronounced LEE) enters his second season as an assistant coach with the RedHawks, serving as the recruiting coordinator among other duties. In his first year on the sidelines, he helped lead Miami to the MAC Tournament championship game.

“We are thrilled to have Nate Lie rejoining the Miami soccer family,” head coach Bobby Kramig said upon Lie’s hire. “When Nate played for the RedHawks he was always our coach on the field, and I am confident that he will do an excellent job.”

While at Miami from 1996-2000, Lie was a two-time Academic All-MAC selection for the Miami men’s soccer program, earning First-Team Academic All-MAC honors in 1998 in addition to Academic All-Ohio accolades that same season. In 1997, Lie earned Second-Team All-MAC honors.

Lie graduated from Miami in 2000 with degrees in economics and finance.
